Innovation-Line
For more than 30 years, Innovation Line (formerly Innovation Specialties) has been serving the awards/recognition and ad specialty markets with unique products. Innovation Line uses a distributor business model and that means quality, consistency and sharp pricing are paramount for long term success. To stay at the top of this market, the search never ends for new and innovative technology that will continually increase the product offering while reducing operating expenses. UV curable inkjet printers have become an increasingly large part of product decoration and that is exactly what Innovation Line has employed.
Company President, Eddie Blau, began his search for inkjet technology several years ago. He invested in the Mimaki JF-1610 UV curable flat bed printer over two years ago and has since continued to add Mimaki UV technology to his production. When asked why implementing UV inkjet technology was so important, Blau cited the need to stay ahead of competition by "being one of the first in the market to offer direct-to-substrate full color printing solutions." After much research, Innovation Line purchased the Mimaki JF-1610 because it fit the budget and offered the best print quality, operator ease of use and a lower cost of labor and consumables. Furthermore Blau stated that "most importantly ITNH and Mimaki had the reputation and quality of service" that he was looking for in an inkjet investment.
The Mimaki UV curable printers offer high res, four color process printing with opaque white ink. Additinally, the ink adheres to many popular materials like plastics, glass, metal and acrylic. Blau says that these new features have for sure brought new opportunities and new sales to his business and he expects this trend to continue for years to come as UV technology continues to advance to the point of "opening unlimited opportunities for printing on a much wider variety of substrates."
Blau also states the importance of a good partner saying "we depend most on ITNH for training and service. They gave us excellent training and put in whatever extra hours were required so that our employees were competent enough to operate the equipment on their own." Blau continues by stating that in certain service instances, ITNH and Mimaki USA have gone above and beyond, "cementing our relationship."
